Final Whistle SC progress to next round of GARFA Special tourney

Final Whistle SC progressed to the next round of the GARFA Special Tournament on penalties despite an average performance.

They defeated Alajo United on penalties 5 - 4, after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Final Whistle SC were disappointing in the beginning of the first half after failing to convert their chances.
Alajo United got the edge over them as they utilized thier chance by converting thier penalty into goal resulting into the first goal of the match in the first half.
Final Whistle SC up their game in the later part of the first half which was rewarded with an equalizer by Andrews Okyere in the 45 minutes.
His calm and cool finishing gave Final Whistle SC hope of getting a win in the match as they enter the second half.
Final Whistle SC came back strong into the second half, dominating the Possession but they failed to score a goal.
The full time Whistle was blown as the match ended in a draw, taking the match to penalty shoot-out.
Final Whistle SC came out top in the penalty shoot-out as they beat Alajo united 5 - 4.
Final Whistle SC Coach, Stephen Nana Yaw Gorkeh after the match revealed that "Determination is the secret behind his success".
He also praised his players for their hard work, concentration and determination to win the match.
"My players are the youngest and smallish in sizes on the field of play but dangerous in terms of game situations".
He further stated that the team have decided to win all their matches, "but it's match after match"
"Hopping that by the end of this coming season we are going to show what we are made of, when it comes into football our side is the team to watch out"
Final Whistle SC seek to continue in their impressive performance in the GARFA Special Tournament as they play Adenta United in the Round 6 of the competition next Saturday.
