Ghana Premier League heavyweights Accra Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of teen sensation Zaid Suraj ahead of the 2025–26 season's campaign.

The 16-year-old, who previously featured for third-tier outfit Cheetah FC, has penned a three-year contract with a one-year option of renewal with Hearts of Oak after passing a medical test carried out earlier today in Accra.

The young talent caught the attention of the Phobians with his impressive skills, vision, and creativity in midfield of Cheetah FC.

Zaid Suraj is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Ghana, and his move to Hearts of Oak is a big step forward in his career and he is expected to be a key member of Didi Dramani's project for the club.

Hearts of Oak is hoping to nurture his talent and gradually introduce him to top-level football as they continue to build a strong team for the future.

Zaid Suraj becomes the fifth signing of Hearts of Oak after the acquisition of Prince Kwabena Owusu, Francis Duku, Baba Adamu, and Ali Mohammed.
