Mercurial midfielder Frank Amankwah cancelled his contract with Karela United just couple of days ago and is now set to join another Premier League side Berekum Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 football season.
The 31-year-old was an integral member of the Bibiani GoldStars squad that clinched the league title last season but unfortunately parted ways with them right after to seek a new challenge elsewhere
He made 26 appearances for the Miners in the previous campaign and delivered top-tier performances in most of the matches.
Having left Karela United, the mercurial middleman signed for Karela United on a two-year deal late last month but decided to terminate his contract just weeks later due to unknown reasons and is now still unattached.
Kickgh.com can confidently report that the player has been in contact with Berekum Chelsea for sometime now and is waiting to hear from the top hierarchy of the club to finalize the move.
Frank Amankwah is currently holding personal training and is open to joining any club that is willing to meet his demands
