The talented winger is attracting interest from other Bundesliga elite clubs but says he is staying put at his side beyond this summer following their relegation to the lower tier last term

Ghanaian winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei has said he is not leaving SC Paderborn 07 this summer after losing their premiership status in the German top-flight campaign last season.

The 26-year-old flanks man is currently on the whish list of some elite division sides in the Bundesliga and are working around the clock to snap up his services before the ongoing summer transfer window is shut down.

Antwi was involved in all the 34 league games for SC Paderborn but did little to save them from the drop on the league log at the end of the 2019/20 top division contest.

The towering winger is still eyeing a spell in the Bundesliga but would not force his way out of the Benteler-Arena as he is determine to stay put at his current outfit.

"Of course, once you've been in this Bundesliga, you want to experience it again," Antwi said per Kicker.

"But that doesn't have to mean that Antwi-Adjei is leaving the SCP this summer.

"You can never say what's going to happen, but I haven't quit my apartment in Paderborn."

The Hagen-born Ghanaian wideman is having his market value at €1.6m per transfermarket.

He made his international debut on Nov 18, 2019 for the Black Stars during the 2020/21 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
