The Ghanaian centre-back will be extending his stay with his mother club before joining the Belgian side on another year loan deal following an agreement between both parties over his transfer move this summer

Derrick Luckassen will extend his contract with Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven for one more year before he joins RSC Anderlecht on a season-long loan deal in the ongoing transfer window.

Following an outstanding performance in the Belgian top-tier contests with the Purple and White outfit last term, the 25-year-old is set to revert to the Lotto Park for another loan stint for the upcoming 2020/21Jupiler Pro League.

According to Dutch Newspaper Het Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV want to extend the contract of the 25-year-old stopper to another year as they hope to benefit from his outright sale over  his asking price of 5 million Euros or more should he be poached by suitors in the near future having been satisfied with his outstanding performance last season with Anderlecht.

The paper further claimed that PSV have agreed a season-long loan deal with Anderlecht for their defender and there will be an announcement soon over the deal by both clubs.

Should the former AZ Alkmaar man sign on the dotted lines for one more year, his contract with the Eredivisie outfit will expire in 2023.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian centre-back is currently having his market value pegged at €2.4m per transfermarket.

He is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Netherlands youth sides.
