The Lancers are back for the services of the talented teenage sensation forward after terminating his remaining one year contract deal earlier on due to contract extension disagreement between both parties

Ajax Amsterdam are in negotiations over contract extension deal with Brian Brobbey, according to his brother Derrick Luckassen.

The budding talent has so far been one of the prospect youth stars of the Yohan Cruyff Arena outfit following his explosive performances in the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie with the Jong Ajax side.

Due to the 18-year-old promising outing in the youth set-up, the Amsterdam-based club opened contract extension talks with the youngster, but an avid quest for first team action by the teenager brought everything to a halt as both parties went separate ways.

And now the sibling of the Dutch-born Ghanaian forward has revealed that the Eredivisie giants and the budding talent are back to the negotiation table for the services of the whiz kid over a new deal.

" "And for Brian it will be an important year at Ajax. The club wants to extend his contract. If they get out, Brian will hopefully be able to play a lot," Luckassen told De Telegraaf

"That is important at his age. He is a player who has shown himself to be productive every year. In his first year at Jong Ajax he has immediately scored seven goals in thirteen games. Those are good figures for an A-junior."
Brian Brobbey made 13 league appearances for the Ajax youth side during the 2019/20 Keuken Kampioen Divisie campaign having plundered 7 goals and provided 1 assist.
The 2 million euros rated forward is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Netherlands youth sides.
