Bundesliga 2 side FC St. Pauli have said they are on the verge of signing German-born Ghanaian forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh in the ongoing summer transfer window as a free agent.
The talented frontman refused to renew his marriage with SV Wehen following the expiration of his contract this just ended football season.
His impressive outings in the 2019/20 league campaign have caught the eyes of the Kiezkicker and are bent on beefing up their frontline options with his acquisition ahead of the new football season in the Bundesliga 2 contest.
FC St. Pauli sporting director Andreas Bornemann has confirmed that the former TSV Havelse man has so far been impressive over outings in his exercise games and has proved his mettle in their team set-up as they are ready to tie him down to a deal this summer.
Bornemann told Mopo.de via Kicker: " He is a very exciting player and a candidate with us."
The VfL Wolfsburg U19 graduate made 28 appearances for SV Wehen during the 2019/20 league season and has scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists.
Kyereh market value is being pegged at €600,000.00 as per transfermarket.
He is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage as he is yet to be capped by Germany at the senior national team level.
