Bernard Tekpetey to be recalled by FC Schalke 04 Featured

The Veltins-Arena outfit will request for the return of the 22-year-old winger from the relegated German elite division side as a result of an unending feud over his season-long loan spell this term

FC Schalke O4 are set to end Bernard Tekpetey two-year contract loan deal with Fortuna Dusseldorf following an impasse over his playing time ahead of the new football season.

The former FC Paderborn flanksman is currently facing disciplinary actions due to his gross misconduct at the relegated top division club.

According to an information gathered by German Newspaper Bild , the Gelsenkirchen-based club are due for a showdown talks with Dusseldorf over the abrogation of the remaining one-year loan deal of the Ghanaian winger and would duly compensate them with 200,000 euros.

The paper further claimed that Schalke would be loaning the 22-year-old to Bulgarian top-flight side PFC Ludogorets Razgrad with an option of making the deal permanent at the end of the season.

The former Unistar Academy product broadsided manager  Uwe Rosler having failed to go by his words over his game time prior to the start of the just ended season.

Tekpetey managed just 9 league appearances for Fortuna  Dusseldorf during the 2019/20 league contest.

The Accra-born forward has capped twice for the senior national team of Ghana.
