The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has joined the German second division side for the next three football seasons as a free agent

FC St. Pauli have announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Daniel Kofi Kyereh on a three-year deal after leaving relegated club SV Weisbaden this ended season.

The talented forward proved his mettle with the Hamburg-based club during his one week assessment sessions and has now won himself a deal ahead of the new season in the lower division contest.

Kyereh would now be hopeful for another impressive season with his new club having elevated himself in the 2019/20 league season with SV Weisbaden.

The former TSV Havelse man expressed his elation after signing on the dotted lines for his newfound home:

"I realised what an extraordinary club this is the first time I ran out at the Millerntor in the season just ended. I also identify 100% with the values the club champions. I'm really happy the move has worked out and the officials came in for me so early. I'm curious to see what happens and am sure we'll develop well as a team, especially with these supporters behind us."

FC St. Pauli sporting director Andreas Bornemann also spoke highly of the talented forward qualities and has lauded him for ditching other suitors to join his outfit.

"We'd been watching Daniel for a long time and are delighted he's rejected other offers to join FC St. Pauli. With his dynamism and pace, he'll add another element to our attacking play."

The VfL Wolfsburg U19 graduate made 28 appearances for SV Wehen during the 2019/20 league season and has scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists.
He is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage as he is yet to be capped by Germany at the senior national team level.
