The German-born Ghanaian forward believes he would benefit immensely from his Dutch team-mate ahead of his debut season with the German top-flight campaigners

Ghanaian forward Ragnar Ache has said his Dutch international team-mate Bas Dost would be helpful to him as he readies himslef to make his bow in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt for the new football season.

Having joined the Frankfurt-based club on a five-year-deal this summer, the 22-year-old forward is convinced that the former VfL Wolfburg man would guide him over his outings against his opponents as he looks foward to making life uncomfortable for them.

'' We haven't met in real life yet, but he asked if I have settled down a bit," said Ache during his presentation in Frankfurt.

"I asked him what it's like to live in this city. I'm sure Bas can teach me clever things. Defenders in the Bundesliga are stronger than in the Netherlands."

The former Sparta Rotterdam marksman says he has not set any target for himself yet and that he would get to adapt to the playing style of his new side when he kick-starts with his training session.

''I don't have a real goal yet. I first want to see how it goes during training. After a week I will know the level better. I try to learn as much as possible,''

''The football it looks like that of Sparta and for me this is coming home, because I was born in Frankfurt. I have been well received. By Bas, but also by Jetro Willems, because they speak Dutch. '

Ache made 19 league appearances for Sparta Rotterdam during the 2019/20 Eredivisie top-flight season and has scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists in the making.

The Frankfurt-born forward is still eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany U21 side.
