The 20-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder has joined the German second division side on a season-long loan deal from the Bundesliga top-tier outfit

SV Sandhausen have announced the signing of Danish-born Ghanaian midfielder Nikolas Nartey on a one year loan deal from VfB Stuttgart in the ongoing transfer window.

As reported earlier by, the budding talent has sealed his move to the BWT-STADION outfit for the upcoming football season.

Nartey was farmed out to third division side Hansa Rostock last term and has lived up to his billings thereby catching the eyes of the technical handlers of the Sandhausen-based club.

The former FC Koln youth star expressed his elation after signing on the dotted lines for his newfound side as he looks forward to gaining more playing time for next season's league campaign with Sandhausen:

" l am very happy to be in Sandhausen and to play for the SVS fans. My goal is to get a lot of playing time, to help the team and to constantly develop myself. Last season I followed the SVS as an intensive team that always gets everything out of the field. That fits my mentality, ” he told the club's offficial website.

SV Sandhausen sporting director Mikayil Kabaca was full of encomium for the youngster after capturing his services and has thanked his parent club for their kind gesture in loaning out the 20-year-old to his outfit.

"Nikolas Nartey can be used flexibly in the middle of the field. We are very happy to have such a young and hungry player. When he was young, he already demonstrated the great quality he has. Many thanks also to VfB Stuttgart, without whom this loan would not have been possible," said Kabaca on the same club's forum.

Nartey made 19 appearances for Hansa Rostock this ended season and has scored 1 goal and provided 4 assists in the process.
His current running contract with VfB Stuttgart will expire in June 2023.
The Copenhagen-born midfielder is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Danish national youth teams.
