The French champions have reportedly expressed interest in signing the Black Stars captain this summer.
Ghana international Andre Ayew has emerged as a top summer transfer target for Paris Saint Germain for their next season's campaign.
The French giants have tabled five million euros to English Championship side Swansea City to acquire the 30-year-old attacker this summer.
Ayew had a tremendous campaign with Swansea City on his return from Fenerbahce loan spell.
He scored eighteen goals with seven assists in his 41 appearances for the Liberty Stadium outfit in the just ended season.
His dream of qualifying to the English Premier League was ended by Brentford in the semis of the Championship play-off after Swansea lost on a 3-2 aggregate.
Swansea City boss Steve Cooper said in an interview with BBC that his outfit is optimistic of keeping the Ghanaian star.
Ayew has a year to run on his sizeable contract, but may move on after Swansea missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
"I think that's a conversation me and Andre need to have," Cooper said.
"I would like nothing more than for Andre to be playing with us again next season.
"We have seen the real level of player he is this year, with the goals he has scored and the impact he has had on and off the pitch. It's been brilliant to work with him.
"But I understand Andre is a better player than the Championship. That's a matter of fact and I am sure he will have offers to do that.
Signed for £18m when Swansea were in the Premier League from Olympique Marseille, Ayew is the club's top earner by a distance.
Ayew could accept an offer from Paris Saint Germain to return to the French Ligue 1 after spending eight seasons at Olympique Marseille.
