The Ghanaian winger has strongly been linked with a move away to the Belgian top-flight campaigners and their cub's chief has opened up on his possible acquisition this summer

Royal Antwerp FC bankroller Paul Gheysens has stated that his club are currently in talks with four top-notch stars in their bid to sign them in the ongoing transfer window.

Having annexed the 2020 Belgian Cup - which ensured their automatic Uefa Europa League qualification next term - the Great Old chief is now oozing with confidence that their title triumph will now attract marquee signings to his side ahead of the new football season.

Following a torrid time at Fortuna Dusseldorf this just-ended season, the former Waasland-Beveren flanksman has been tipped for an exit from the relegated Bundesliga side this summer and could head back to Belgium having attracted interest from Royal Antwerp and Club Brugge.

Club CEO, Paul Gheysens told Het Nieuwsblad via Voetal24:

"This trophy will attract people," said Gheysens. "Hopefully it is the trigger to attract the 3-4 top players we are working on. We are not going to throw the money, but there will certainly be more."

The Black Stars talented left-footed widesman made only 12 league appearances for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the just ended season.
Ampomah is currently being valued at 1.3 million euros and his running contract with Dusseldorf will expire in June 2022.
