"It's good to be back, nice", smiled Boadu, who had to miss the first three exhibition matches, but took part in the entire first half against OSC Lille . "We started a bit slow on our part, but then we had a few chances. We sometimes play our way through it nicely."

Following his recuperation, Boadu is now in fully-fledged to be in action in the upcoming UEFA Champions League preliminary stage encounters when his side takes on Czech giants Viktoria Plzen later this month.

Having born and raised in Amsterdam by Ghanaian parents, the 19-year-old budding talent chose to represent the Netherlands at the international stage at the expense of Ghana.
