"lt feels good to be back" - Ghana's Myron Boadu on cloud nine after injury return Featured

The 19-year-old centre-forward has expressed his elation after returning from injury to feature for his side in their friendly game match against the French Lig 1 side over the weekend

Dutch-born Ghanaian teenager Myron Boadu says he feels "good" to be back from injury having missed AZ Alkmaar first three matches in friendlies during the course of their off-season campaign.

The talented budding star enjoyed a 45th minute game time in their 2-1 pre-season game victory against French top division club Lille OSC at the AFAS Stadium on Saturday.

The Barcelona target shared his thoughts on the clash as he revels in his comeback from injury via AZ Alkmaar Channel:

  "I expect to need about two more games to get fully fit," said the striker.

 "It's good to be back, nice", smiled Boadu, who had to miss the first three exhibition matches, but took part in the entire first half against OSC Lille . "We started a bit slow on our part, but then we had a few chances. We sometimes play our way through it nicely." 
 
Following his recuperation, Boadu is now in fully-fledged to be in action in the upcoming UEFA Champions League preliminary stage encounters when his side takes on Czech giants Viktoria Plzen later this month.
 
Having born and raised in Amsterdam by Ghanaian parents, the 19-year-old budding talent chose to represent the Netherlands at the international stage at the expense of Ghana.
