The Greek Super League champions have emerged as front-runners to sign the Ghanaian attacker this summer, can exclusively report.


Greek giants Olympiacos FC are in pole position to sign Deportivo Alaves forward Patrick Twumasi in the ongoing summer transfer window

The 26-year-old is on the verge of leaving the Spanish La Liga club after a successful loan spell at Turkish Super Lig club Gaziantep SK in the just ended season.
His sterling performance in Turkish top-flight league where he scored six goals with five assists in his 26 appearances for Gaziantep SK has attracted him interest from several clubs in Europe. can exclusively report that Twumasi is considering a move to Olympiacos FC because of their appearance in UEFA Champions League next season.
The Karaiskakis Stadium outfit are currently holding talks with Deportivo Alaves over the possible acquisition of the 2.5 million euros rated attacker this summer.
It is believed that clubs such as Hannover 96, VfB Stuttgart, Hamburg SV, Denizlispor and Hatayspor have shown interest in signing the Black Stars winger.
He has also received some lucrative offers from Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Twumasi is having an existing contract with Alaves until summer 2022.
He has capped thrice for the senior national team of Ghana.
