Ghana's Winfred Amoah joins SV Kapfenberg Featured

The budding talented attacker has been farmed out to the Austrian second-tier club, exclusively confirm.


Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz have loaned out Ghanaian winger Winfred Amoah to SV Kapfenberg until the end of the 2020/21 season.

The 20-year-old has been rented out to SV Kapfenberg for a season-long loan deal to aid his progression.
He was offered a new deal by Sturm Graz until summer 2022 after a dazzling performance since his promotion to the club's senior team earlier this year.
Amoah earned promotion to the first team of Sturm Graz in January 2020 after an explosive performance at the club's youth teams.
He rose through the ranks of Sturm Graz with the U15, U16, U18 and feeder club (Sturm Graz II).
The Swiss-born of Ghanaian descent is eligible to play for either Switzerland, Austria and Ghana at any level.
He is the son of former Ghana striker Charles Amoah.
