Amiens SC close in on Emmanuel Lomotey Featured

The relegated French top-flight side are on the verge of securing the services of the Ghanaian midfield enforcer in the ongoing transfer window

French Ligue 2 side Amiens Sporting Club are closing in on Black Meteors midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey following an advanced talk of negotiations with his Spanish second-tier side Extremadura UD.

The 22-year-old lanky enforcer is being courted by a host of clubs across Europe - with Portuguese outfit SC Braga, French Ligue 1 side FC Metz and German outfit Union Berlin - all currently on his heels - following an explosive loan spell with Villarreal CF ''B'' during the 2018/19 season.

According to French outlet Courrier Picard, Amiens will soon be announcing the capturing of the talented combative midfielder after having a fruitful negotiations over his get-out clause of 500,000 euros with his parent club this summer.

Lomotey was a member of the Black Stars 'B' team that won the 2017 WAFU Cup after beating Nigeria in the final.
 
He joined Extremadura UD on a three-year deal from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC in 2017.
 
Currently, he is a member of the Ghana U23 team.
