The budding star has completed his loan switch to the Spanish La Liga 2 club in the ongoing summer transfer window, can exclusively confirm.


Ghana youth international Tahiru Awudu has officially joined Spanish side CF Fuenlabrada on loan from Medeama SC for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old had joined the Estadio Fernando Torres outfit on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy from the Ghana Premier League side.
Awudu was touted as one of the best young players in the Ghanaian top-flight league during the 2018/19 season which ended abruptly.
He was signed by Medeama SC ahead of the 2018/19 season from lower-tier side Konogo Shooting Stars.
Following his exploits in the league, he was handed a call-up to Ghana U20 team ahead of the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
Also, Awudu earned an invitation to the Ghana U23 team during the CAF U23 Cup of Nations qualifiers under Coach Ibrahim Tanko.
He spent last on loan at Spanish third-tier club Fútbol Alcobendas Sport.
Before leaving for Spain, Awudu was adjudjed the 2019 Betway Cup topscorer after netting four goals during the competition.
