Umar Basit seals Menemenspor deal - Report Featured

The 20-year-old forward has reportedly sealed a transfer move to the Turkish second divsion club in the ongoing transfer window

TFF First League side Menemenspor have signed Ghanaian youth star Umar Basit in an undisclosed duration of contract this summer, according to reports from the Turkish media.

The former New Edubiase frontman passed his medical earlier this week before putting pen to paper on the deal for the lzmir-based club.

A report by Fanatik has indicated that Menemenspor manager Cenk Laleci requested for the services of a clinical finisher and has settled on the 20-year-old striker as he looks forward to accomplishing his dream of securing qualification to the top-flight following his acquisition this season.

Umar Basit will be hoping to have a fine debut league campaign in the just-started season with the Menemen ilce Stadium outfit having joined them on a free  transfer this summer.

The former Black Satellites star man is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
