The Ghana international becomes the latest player to contract the illness at the Lotto Park and will now be in self-isolation for fourteen days

Ghana international Dauda Mohammed has tested positive for Coronavirus, RSC Anderlecht have announced on Friday.

The 22-year-old forward is now the ninth player among his playing mates to have contracted the novel virus even though he still remains asymptomatic.

A statement from RSC Anderlecht over the confirmation of Dauda's infection of the Covid-19 reads as per Het Nieuwsblad: "  A total of eight players from Anderlecht were already in quarantine earlier this week: Hannes Delcroix, Lucas Lissens, Peter Zulj, Timon Wellenreuther, Michel Vlap, Yari Verschaeren, Antonio Milic and James Lawrence."

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko goal poacher, who has been tipped for a move away this term, is likely to stay with the Purple and White following his resurgence form for the just-started league campaign.

Dauda Mohammed is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
