Stade Rennes join race for Jeremy Doku Featured

The French top-flight side have entered the race to sign the talented budding teenager of Ghanaian descent in the ongoing transfer window

French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes have joined the race to sign Ghanaian youngster Jeremy Doku from Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht this summer.

The 18-year-old promising star has been a subject of transfer target of European giants  - with Liverpool, Juventus and AC Milan - all currently chasing after his signature this term.

According to Goal, the French outfit are currently in the transfer market in searching of a talent for their attacking options and have penciled down the most sought-after youngster as the ideal man to fit in perfectly in their set-up in that position for the just-started league campaign.

RSC Anderlecht CEO Karel Van Eetvelt has stated that his outfit are yet to receive concrete offers from suitors over the services of their prized asset and has served notice that the youngster will only leave for the right transfer fee as they consider cashing in on him this term.

''It is not the intention to sell Jérémy Doku, but if there are insane amounts, you have to listen,'' Eetvelt told Het laatste Nieuws

Doku has so far featured in 7 league games for RSC Anderlecht and has scored 2 and provided 4 assists in the ongoing Belgian top-flight football season. 

He has made his international debut for the Belgium senior national team in the UEFA Nations League this year.
