Ghana's pursuit Brian Brobbey: I want to stay at Ajax FC Featured

The budding talented forward says he wants to stay put at the Yohan Cruyff Arena as he awaits for the conclusion of talks over fresh deal with the Amsterdam-based club

Dutch-born Ghanaian teenage striker Brian Brobbey has said he wants to extend his stay with Ajax FC as he still has one more year to run on his existing contract with them this term.

The budding talent has so far been one of the prospect youth stars of the "Lancers" following his explosive performances in the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie with the Jong Ajax side.

Due to the 18-year-old promising outing in the youth set-up, the Amsterdam-based club has opened contract extension talks with the youngster and could soon tie him down to another fresh deal following his eagerness to remain at their side for many part of the football season as a youngster.

Brobbey, who still harbours the dream of first-team action with the senior ranks at Ajax, told FOX Sports

"They are negotiating. I want to stay, for sure,"

"I want to make a lot of minutes in Young Ajax , be important and from there make my debut in Ajax 1. Whether it is coming? I would not know. I just keep doing my best and then I see it. well."

He has so far featured in five league games by scoring two goals for the Young Ayax team in the just-started Keuken Kampioen Divisie 2020/21 season.

The 2 million euros rated centre-forward is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Netherlands youth teams.
