Leeroy Owusu returns from injury ahead of FC Twente clash Featured

Coach Adrie Koster's side has been handede a major boost ahead of their Dutch Eredivisie match-week five clash following the return of the intelligent right-back from injury.


Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu has returned from injury after one month of being sidelined.

The 24-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in Willem ll preseason friendly game against VVCS ahead of the start of the new football season.
Owusu who joined Williem II this summer is yet to make a competitive debut for the club after spending four weeks in the treatment room.
The club has announced ahead of their Saturday's game against FC Twente that Owusu has recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered last month.
His compatriot Kwasi Okyere Wriedt who also suffered a broken metatarsal bone during their preseason exercise is yet to return.
Owusu joined Willem ll on a three-year deal from De Graafschap this summer.
