The former West African Football Academy SC star is set to seal a move to the Belgian top-flight league side until the end of the season.

Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is on the verge of completing a six-month loan deal to RSC Anderlecht in the ongoing winter transfer window.

Red Bull Salzburg have decided to farmed out the 23-year-old old who has been struggling this season for regular playing time at the Austrian Bundesliga club.
He has made 13 appearaces for Red Bull Salzburg in all competitions where he has provided five assists with no goal.
Ashimeru said in an interview with Ghanaian based CITI TV that he is on his way out to RSC Anderlecht for a six-month loan deal.
“Yes, my agent is working on it, but the deal has not been completed yet," Ashimeru said
''In the next few days, we will know what the next move is. Right now I am with my family so hopefully soon, I will know if I am going or not”.
Ashimeru is currently in Ghana for holidays and will be travelling to Belgium to complete his sensational loan switch to RSC Anderlecht.
He has a contract with Red Bull Salzburg until the summer of 2024 — the Ghanaian international has previously loaned out to Austria Lustenau, St. Gallen and Wolfsberger AC.
RSC Anderlecht already have Ghanaian duo Mohammed Dauda and Francis Amuzu in their fold.
