Belgian Pro League side RSC Anderlecht are bent on terminating the loan deal of Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen in the onging January transfer window.
The 25-year-old has failed to impress this term having joined the Purple and White on a season-long loan deal from Dutch Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven.
A report filed by Dutch Newspaper Eindhovens Dagblad has indicated that the Belgian top-flight outfit have informed the parent club of the former Hertha Berlin loanee guardsman that the services of their centre-back are no longer needed at the Lotto Park for the second half of the Jupiler Pro League season.
Luckassen has so far managed 8 league games for RSC Anderlecht in the ongoing Belgian elite division campaign this term.
His contract with PSV Eindhoven will expire in June 2023 and his marke value has been pegged at 2.20 million euros as per transfermarket.
The Amsterdam-born defender is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Netherlands youth teams.
