English Premier League side West Ham United are interested in signing English-born Ghanaian striker Eddie Nketiah this January transfer window, according to reports from the UK press.
Following the sale of Ivorian striker Sebastien Haller to Ajax Amsterdam this January, the Hammers have identified the Arsenal promising forward to be the ideal man to fill the void left by the 26-year-old at the London Stadium for the rest of the ongoing top-flight league campaign this term.
It remains to be seen whether the Emirates Stadium outfit will enter into any deal with their EPL counterparts over the services of their youth product given his promising showings in manager Mikel Arteta's setup this term.
Nketiah has so far featured in 20 games in all competitons for Arsenal FC having scored once and providing one assist in 12 league games this season.
The London-born striker is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the England U18,U19, U20 & U21 national youth teams.
