Brian Brobbey could be sold in the ongoing transfer window due to complications surrounding his contract extension talks with Ajax FC, according to club's watcher Freek Jansen.
The teenage sensation has so far been one of the prospect youth stars of the 'Lancers' following his explosive performance in the Dutch Keuken Kampioen Divisie with the Jong Ajax side.
Given his promising showing, the Yohan Cryuff Arena outfit are eager to tie him down to a long-term contract but that wish seems to be dying out as a result of complications surrounding his contract extension talks with his super agent Mino Raiola.
And now, according to Freek Jansen, Ajax have now ran out of patience with the 18-year-old's contract situation and are contemplating of cashing in on him this winter.
''But the patience with Brobbey has now run out from Ajax", Jansen told Dutch football Magazine Voetbal International. "And that makes sense, because Rensch, Gravenberch, Hansen and Taylor have all signed up. Brobbey didn't. It just lasts and it lasts."
He added: ''In the most important match against Atalanta he was allowed to start from the beginning and they must have taken him into the selection. He will really get his chances. Maybe he will be sold this transfer window, but Ajax also does not rule out extending it after all. "
