RSC Anderlecht will be coughing up 2.5 million euros for the outright sale of Ghana international midfielder Majeed Ashimeru from Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg following the expiration of his loan spell this season.
According to reports from the Belgian press, the former FC St Gallen loanee midfielder will soon finalise his loan switch to the Belgian Pro League campaigners till the end of the 2020/21 football season.
It is understood that the Purple and White will have the option to make the loan deal permanent from the Austrian top-flight side as consensus over the price tag of the former WAFA talisman has been reached between both clubs for his outright sale.
Ashimeru has a contract with Red Bull Salzburg until the summer of 2024 — the Ghanaian international has previously been loaned out to Austria Lustenau, St. Gallen and Wolfsberger AC.
RSC Anderlecht already have Ghanaian duo Mohammed Dauda and Francis Amuzu in their fold.
