The Ghanaian duo will be out of action for many days in the Turkish top-flight after picking up injuries in their last league outing against the Anadolu Yıldızı last Saturday

Yeni Malatyaspor Ghanaian duo, Afriyie Acquah and Benjamin Tetteh are set to be sidelined for weeks after both suffered from knee ligament and back muscle injuries respectively during their 0-1 defeat to Kayserispor in the Turkish Super League.

According to the club's medical doctor Hakan Ayaz, upon thorough medical examinations being conducted, the duo have been diagnosed with 1st degree strains and that will keep both in the treatment room for a maximum period of three to four weeks.

''In the Kayserispor match, grade 1 strain (muscle strain) was detected as a result of the examinations and examinations of Tetteh who got out of the game after being injured from his back muscle and he was away from the fields for an estimated 1-3 weeks. It is predicted that it will remain,'' Ayaz said in a statement published on the club's official webste.

He added on the former Torino midfield enforcer: ''As a result of the examinations and examinations of Acquah, who came out of the game as a result of the blow to the knee in the Kayserispor competition, 1st degree strain on the inner side ligaments and edema in the knee were detected.
