The relegated LaLiga side are an inch away from securing the loan services of the 22-year-old forward from the Belgian elite division side in this January transfer window

Spanish Segunda Division side RCD Mallorca are on the verge of signing Ghana striker Dauda Mohammed on loan from Belgian Jupiler Pro League side RSC Anderlecht this winter.

After failing to secure his loan deal during the summer, the Los Bermellones are now back for his services this January and could soon land his signature by adding him to their roster for the rest of the 2020/21 football season.

According to a report filed by Spanish Television Station IB3 via Walfoot, the former Ghana U20 youth star loan move to RCD Mallorca is a done deal and they will have the option to make the deal permanent if he lives up to expectations at the end of the season.

Since sealing a deal with the Purple and White from Asante Kotoko in 2017, the 22-year-old centre-forward has failed to gatecrash the mainstream setup of the Lotto Park outfit.

Dauda has had loan spells with Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem and Danish lower division outfit Esbjerg fB respectively.

His current running contract with RSC Anderlecht will expire in June 2021 and his market value has been pegged at 700,000 euros as per transfermarket.

The Black Meteors frontman is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars.
