RSC Anderlecht manager Vincent Kompany has described Ghana international striker Dauda Mohammed as ''weapong'' in his team setup following his impressive performances in the summit of Belgium football competition so far this season.
The 23-year-old, who came close to sealing a loan deal with admirers during the winter transfer window, has rediscovered his fine form with the Purple and White and is now making waves against opponents in this term's league campaign.
Following his remarkable outing, the former Ghana U-20 star has now earned his manager's praises as he counts on him in achieving his ultimate ambition in the ongoing Belgian elite division contest.
''Mo is already a weapon”, the former Belgium and Manchester City icon was quoted as saying by HLN on Sunday.
“He has often had the chance of the match in recent months, but had bad luck in the finish. And that bad luck was not there in the U23 or in the practice matches. That's why I already consider him a weapon, yes. He's fast, powerful and better at ball than people think,''
''Mo works hard for the team and is just an intelligent player. He can help us with his profile. Especially the Anderlecht of today.”
Dauda has so far netted twice in 12 league games for RSC Anderlecht this season.
He is yet to be capped by Ghana at the senior national team level, the Black Stars having featured for the U-20 & U-23 national team respectively.
