Majeed Ashimeru scores debut goal to keep RSC Anderlecht in top four

Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru netted his first-ever goal for RSC Anderlecht in their heavy away win over Royal Antwerp in the Belgian top-flight league on Monday evening.

 
 

RSC Anderlecht managed to record a 4-1 away win over Royal Antwerp in their match-week 32 encounter at the Bosuil Stadion.

 
After lack of goals in the first half, Ashimeru opened the score for the Purples with a fine strike on the 52nd minute of the game.
 
Goals from Michael Murillo, Anouar Ait El Hadj and Yari Verschaeren sealed their resounding victory despite a late strike from Maxime Le Marchand for Royal Antwerp.
 
He enjoyed 79 minutes of the game with a splendid performance.
