The talented midfielder has officially joined the Belgian Jupilier League giants until the summer of the 2025.

RSC Anderlecht have acquired the services of Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru from Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg on permanent basis.

The 23-year-old has joined the Purples lads on a four-year deal from the Austrian Bundesliga club after a successful loan spell at RSC Anderlecht.
The club's official statement reads "The Ghanaian signs a contract with Sporting until 2025. Like last season, the attacking midfielder will play with the number 18."
"Majeed Ashimeru, who was loaned to RSC Anderlecht by RB Salzburg during the last winter transfer window, is now officially a Mauve.
"Majeed was able to convince the technical staff of his qualities during his loan spell, and also felt at home at Sporting himself. RSCA will now definitively take over the 23-year-old Ghanaian from the Austrian club."
Ashimeru was farmed out to Anderlecht by the Austrian Bundesliga champions following his struggles for regular playing time at the club.
He managed to score two goals in his 12 game outings for RSC Anderlecht in all competitions in the just ended 2020/21 season.
Before his loan stint in Belgium, Ashimeru had already been loaned out to SC Austria Lustenau, Wolfsberger AC and FC St. Gallen 1879.
