The 23-year-old forward of Ghanaian lineage has completed his season-long loan deal with the Turkish top-tier side in the ongoing summer transfer window

Turkish Super Lig campaigners Antalyaspor have announced the loan signing of striker of Ghanaian descent Haji Wright from Danish elite division side SønderjyskE with an option of making the deal permanent after the end of the 2021-22 football league campaign.

Prior to his move to the Super Lig, the former Schalke 04 promising forward came close to sealing a transfer move to Swedish giants Malmo FF during the last winter transfer window.

Right after signing on the dotted lines for the Turkish outfit, the 23-year-old voiced his elation over the transfer move to the Antalya Stadium outfit and has thanked the club's management over their warm reception having secured his loan services from his parent club ahead of next season.

"I would like to thank our president, management, Aytaç Altay and everyone working at the club for their warm welcome, who made my transfer and gave me this opportunity. I am very happy to be in Antalyaspor, " the former VVV-Venlo man told the club's official website.

Club's vice president Sabri Gulel also spoke highly of the talented centre-forward following his capture in the ongoing summer transfer window.

“He is young and strong, and has a special football talent for every team. I hope he will love our beautiful Antalya and will not want to leave here. This season will be very successful. He scored 13 goals for his club last year. I expect more here. I welcome him aboard," Gulel said to the same club's forum.

Haji's sibling, Hanif Wright is currently on the books of American third tier side San Diego 1904 FC.

Both Haji and Hanif Wright are cousines to Isaac Nana Addai Gibson, currently plying trade with Rhode Island Red FC, a semi-professional men's soccer team in the USA and Joseph Kwahu Duah Addai Jr, former NFL running back player
