Decision to join Rennais is the best choice - Kamaldeen Sulemana Featured

Ghanaian youngster Kamaldeen Sulemana has defended his decision to join Stade Rennais describing it as the right choice to help him develop his career.


The Right to Dream Academy graduate ditched a reunion with ex- teammate, Kudus Mohammed at Ajax, to sign for the Ligue 1 outfit last week, with the switch running until 2026, a decision he said was motivated by Chelsea legend Michael Essien.

The 19 year old without wasting much time, has started his preseason having joined his other teammates in Spain looking to gel himself for the start of the season.
Speaking with the club's official TV channel, Kamaldeen disclosed he had to join the Roazhon Park side because he spoke with their technical team before and was impressed with their project which he drew lots of positives from. He said; 
"From my first visit to the club, I had the opportunity to talk to the coach and the staff. I believe in this project. I think it's a good choice for my career. Rennes is a big team, trainer of great talents. It's a good place to progress." He told Stade Rennais TV
Kamaldeen Sulemana, 19, was sensational for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish topflight last season, getting involved in 14 goals; scoring 10 and assisting 4 in 29 outings.
