Ghanaian midfield sensation Gilbert Koomson scored his first goal for Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in their 3-0 away win at Stabæk in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

It was an easy task for Glimt who slugged-it-out with one of the league's weakest teams on Sunday night at the Nadderud Stadion.

Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen made a resounding substitution by taking off number eleven shirted Pellegrino to bring on super-sub, Koomson, whom he normally plays in midfield - in the 79th minute.

Koomson, who is a natural goal poacher found the back of the net seven minutes later.

Glimt broke the virginity of the game through Erik Botheim in the 54th minute before Freddy Bjørkan scored the second after the hour mark.

The 27-year-old was making his fourth league outing for the Superlagets.

Koomson and his side are now sitting top of the league log with 44 points after 21 round of matches.
