Egyptian club Tala'ea El Gaish Sporting Club have completed the signing of Ghanaian international striker John Antwi.

The 29-year-old free goal scoring striker has put pen-to-paper on a one year contract that will see him at the club till the end of the 2021/2022 season.

Antwi joins the Cairo-based side on free transfer after asking fellow Egyptian club Pyramids to terminate his contract.

The sharpshooter had a torrid outing with Pyramids last season, failing to score in sixteen league appearances in the Egyptian top flight league.

He has carved a niche for himself in the North African nation, having played for Ismaily, Al Ahly, Misr El-Makasa, and Pyramids.

Antwi is still the reigning baron of all time foreign top goal sniffers with seventy-seven goals in the Egyptian Premier League.

He is bent on rediscovering his goal scoring dexterity for the Army's Vanguards in the new season.
