Frank Acheampong shines in Shenzhen FC win over Cangzhou Mighty Lions in Chinese FA Cup Featured

Evergreen Ghanaian forward Frank Acheampong was on top form as Chinese side Shenzhen FC travel to beat Cangzhou Mighty Lions FC (also known as Shijiazhuang) 3-1 in the Chinese FA Cup on Tuesday.

The former RSC Anderlecht player earned a starting spot with his side as they secured the win.

 

Acheampong, in his usual slashing element - was a nightmare for the defense of the home side as he tormented them incessantly with his direct accurate passing and smart moves coupled with his agility and high acumen on the field of play.

 

The visitors opened the scoring after nineteen minutes when Chinese midfielder Wang Yongpo fired home for the Youth Army.

 

Alan Kardec doubled the lead for the Guangdong-based side on the 26th minute.

 

Senegalese striker André Koupouleni Senghor pulled one back for Cangzhou Mighty Lions.

 

However, his goal yield to nothing as Ke Sun last gasp second half strike annexed the 3-1 win for Shenzhen FC at the Development Area Stadium in Cangzhou.
