Nine-man Anderlecht produced a display of remarkable resistance to hold on for a 2-2 draw with OH Leuven, in an epic, enthralling contest between two Jupiler Pro League sides at Lotto Park.

Ashimeru was shown the pecking orders in an hotly-debated sending off in second-half injury time.

 

The Ghanaian climbed off the bench in the 77th minute and stretched his right hand to rifled a shot set to loft into the net from OHL in the 96th minute.

A penalty was awarded against Anderlecht but goalkeeper Van Crombrugge saved the ball to deny Guinean forward, Sory Kaba from annexing the match winner for OHL.
