EXCLUSIVE: Barcelona ready to snap up Andre Ayew in January Featured

Spanish club FC Barcelona will battle Scottish giants Celtic for Ghana skipper Andre Ayew.

The Ghanaian international has been placed on the radar of the Catalans after the recommendation of head coach Xavi Hernandez to the board of directors of the European giants.

 

Barcelona are ready to complete the deal with Al Sadd in the January winter transfer window for the experience Ghanaian midfielder.

 

Ayew and Xavi Hernandez worked together in Al Saad before the Spanish tactician rejoined his boyhood club FC Barcelona.

 

The 31-year-old is currently having an eerie time at the Qatari club, Al Sadd having netted seven goals after nine league matches.

 

Kickgh.com sources has been reliably informed that Barcelona will tend-in a six months loan bid for Ayew in January.

 

However, Barcelona will make known their intention to exercise a buy-out clause in his loan deal which will see the Ghanaian put pen to paper on a permanent contract with the club next summer.
