Ligue 1 side Nice are reportedly interested in signing Francis Amuzu and have entered the race for the Anderlecht playmaker.

The 22-year-old, although not a starter - always flourishes whenever given the opportunity, has again struggled for game-time at Lotto Park this season.

His contract at the Purple and White expires in 2024 and with an extension unlikely, Sporting could sell this winter to avoid losing Amuzu on a free in 2024 summer.

Now, French outlet L'Equipe report that Nice - currently second in the French top flight - are interested in bringing Amuzu to Allianze Riveira.

The report details that there is competition between several clubs for Amuzu’s signature, including Everton and Wolfsburg.

KickGH understands that Nice boss Christophe Galtier is gearing up to approach Amuzu with a sizeable fee to satisfy both Sporting and the Ghana forward.
