Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored another brace to rescue Red Star Belgrade from defeat in the Serbian top-flight league on Saturday.

Red Star Belgrade managed to hold Backa Backa Palanka to a 2-2 away draw at the Stadion Slavko Maletin Vava.

The 23-year-old snatched the leveller in the 55th minute after Ivan Doric's lone strike ended the first half in a 1-0 lead in favour of the home side.

He netted his second goal of the day after converting a spot-kick awarded to the Red and Whites in the 86th minute after Milan Makaric has restored the lead for the homesters in the 78th minute of the game.

The Ghana international lasted for the entire duration of the match whiles his compatriot Akwasi Frimpong was not included in Red Star Belgrade squad for the match.

Boakye-Yiadom has netted 22 goals in his 26 appearances for the Belgrade-based club this season.
