Mohammed Abu joins Norwegian club Valerenga IF

The former Right to Dream star has completed his loan move to the Norwegian top-flight club in the ongoing summer transfer window, can exclusively confirm.
Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu has officially joined Valerenga on a loan from MLS side Columbus Crew.
The 26-year-old signed a one-year loan contract with the Intility Arena outfit after passing his medical on Friday.
The club's official statement reads "Vålerenga and MLS Club Columbus Crew agree on a lease for midfielder Mohammed Abu. 
"He passed a medical test at the Intility Arena on Friday morning and comes to Vålerenga on loan out the year."
He has featured for several clubs including Rayo Vallecano, Stromsgodset, Aarhus GF, FC Lorient and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Abu made 24 appearances for Columbus Crew with only one assist during his stay.
