The Ghana international looks disappointed after the Yellow Canaries failed to clinch a win over Besiktas in the Istanbul derby.
Fenerbahce SK forward Andre Ayew also said he was happy to rescue his side from a home defeat in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday evening.
Besiktas held their city rivals to a one-all draw in their week six clash at Ulker Stadium Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Sports Complex.
Ayew's powerful header on the 71st minute helped Fenerbahce to share spoils with Besiktas after Dutch international Ryan Babe has put the visitors ahead in the first half.
"I think we had a good character as a team today. Our fans were incredible. We found many positions in the first half, I found it but could not score," Ayew told reporters after the game.
"Besiktas scored with Babel in one shot. We managed to stay together in the second half and remain compact.
"We fought. Of course we were disappointed because we couldn't win, we could have reduced the score difference.
"I scored my second goal here and I'm happy, but today we wanted three points very much, I'm a little disappointed.
"Up close, with a win. This match will be very important to fight and focus together, "
Fenerbahce currently peg at thirteen position on the Turkish Super Lig table with six points after match-day 6.
