Musah Nuhu happy to make FC St. Gallen debut

The young defender says he is much elated to play his first match for FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League.

Ghana youth international Musah Nuhu made his debut for FC St. Gallen in their heavy home victory over FC Zurich on Wednesday evening.

The 22-year-old lasted for the full throttle of the match with a sterling output as the Green and White lads recorded a 3-1 win over FC Zurich at the Kybub Stadium.

He previously made five appearances for the FC St. Gallen U23 team with a goal to his credit since his arrival in August 2018.

The former WAFA captain earned promotion to the senior team following his splendid performance at the U23 side.

"It was a great feeling to start the match. I was very happy when I heard my name in the starting line up," Nuhu told

"I'm hoping for more playing time"

He was in action with his former teammate at WAFA Majeed Ashimeru who was on the score sheet for FC St. Gallen.

Nuhu joined the Swiss top-flight club on a season-long deal from Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy (WAFA SC) last summer.
