The former Ghana U20 star has confirmed he is leaving the Spanish La Liga Santander outfit.

Ghana international Emmanuel Boateng has said goodbye to his Levante UD team-mates ahead of his move to Dalian Yifang in China.

The 22-year-old underwent a successful medical tests ahead of his switch to the Chinese Super League club on Monday in Madrid.

Earlier today, he visited the Bunol training ground to bid farewell to his Levante UD teammates.

"I will miss everyone at Levante. Thanks to the fans, coaches and my teammates for their unflinching support during my stay" Boateng told in an exclusive interview.

"Levante is like a family and I am still a supporter of the club despite leaving to join a new club"

His €11 million move to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang is expected to be announced in the coming hours.

The Black Stars striker rose to the fame in Spanish football with his hat-trick against Barcelona last season.

In 2017, he joined Levante UD from Portuguese club Moreirense on a transfer fee around 2.9 million euros.

Boateng scored eight goals with two assists in his 48 appearances for Levante UD during his stay.
