Alhassan Wakaso signs new deal with Vitoria Guimaraes SC

The Black Stars midfielder has extended his contract with the Portuguese top-flight club.

Ghana international Alhassan Wakaso has signed a new two-year deal with Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes SC.
The 27-year-old penned down a new two-year deal after fruitful talks which will keep him at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques outfit.
"Thanks to all the Vitoria fans and everyone to renew this contract. I'm very happy to renew my contract with this club," Wakaso told the club's official website.
"It means a lot whenever a club decide to extend your contract. It's the best decision for the club and my myself.
He joined the Black and White lads from French Ligue 2 club FC Lorient in 2017.
He has scored two goals in his 28 appearances for Vitoria Guimaraes SC this season.
Wakaso has capped only once for the senior national team of Ghana.
