Ghana duo Joseph Paintsil and Joseph Aidoo clinch Belgian league title with KRC Genk

Ghana duo Joseph Aidoo and Joseph Paintsil have clinched the Belgian top-flight league title with KRC Genk.

KRC Genk amassed 51 points to be crowned champions following their 1-1 away stalemate with Anderlecht on Thursday evening.
On the 11th minute, Bryan Heynen opened the score with a cool finish before Yannick Bolasie netted the equaliser for Genk on the 65th minute.
Ghana U23 star Joseph Paintsil was introduced into the game on the 58th minute to replace Japanese international Junya Ito whiles Aidoo warmed the bench for the Blue and White lads.
Youngster Francis Amuzu was also in action for Anderlecht where he enjoyed only fifteen minutes of the match.
Paintsil has scored five goals with an assist in his 33 appearances whiles Aidoo has made 38 appearances with two goals to his credit this season.
