Afriyie Acquah agrees terms with Turkish club Yeni Malatyaspor

The Turkish top-flight side are set to announce the signing of the Ghana international in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah has reached an agreement with Turkish Super Lig club Yeni Malatyaspor ahead of his switch.
 
The 27-year-old will be joining the Malatya Arena outfit on a free transfer after his contract with Empoli expired last month.
 
He is expected to arrive Italy in the coming days to undergo a mandatory medical test before inking the deal with Yeni Malatyaspor.
 
At Empoli last season, he scored two goals in 28 matches for the Italian side.
 
He has played for Torino, Parma, Palermo, Sampdoria and TSG Hoffenhiem in Germany.
 
Acquah has capped 36 times for the senior national team of Ghana.
